Humberside Police - Officer Re-Joiners
Humberside Police is now accepting applications for Re-Joining Officers.
Are you a previous serving Officer who would like to return to a career in policing?
You will join a forward thinking, modern Police Force, who’s aim is to provide first class service to the communities within Humberside. As well as this, we also provide a wide range of career opportunities and career development. To enable us to continue delivering these objectives we are seeking Police/Detective Officers who want to re-join the Police Force.
We offer the opportunity to work within East Yorkshire, Hull and North/ North East Lincolnshire, which is home to coast, city and countryside.
To be eligible to join Humberside Police as a re-joiner, you must:
- Have previously been a current serving police officer in a Home Office force
- Have no outstanding discipline or integrity issues
- Have resided in the UK for three years immediately prior to submitting your application
- Have successfully completed your probationary period with your previous Force

Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited to complete a National Sift before being invited to a competency based interview.
Those successful at interview will be required to undergo the following checks in-force area before appointment:
- Vetting
- Medical Assessment & Fitness Test
- Drugs & Bio-Metrics
- Fitness
- References
- Sickness Criteria
- Misconduct
- Tattoo Clearances
